The Iveco Experience event in Prague and at the Most circuit showcased the 2026 truck range, new safety systems, augmented-reality workshop tools and services designed to reduce fleet operating costs
Iveco held its latest Experience event in Prague and at the Most racing circuit in Czechia, bringing together transport operators, dealers and drivers from Central and Eastern European markets, including Poland.
The Czech presentation was the first stop on Iveco’s Spirito in Movimento European road tour. Eight vehicles are expected to travel more than 5,000 km over two months, visiting Prague, Frankfurt, Le Mans, Amsterdam and Madrid.
The event focused on the 2026 model range, connected fleet management, vehicle maintenance and total cost of ownership. Truck design, accessories, tuning and motorsport were also included in the programme.

The Iveco S-Way Model Year 2026 was the central vehicle at the event. As K2Cargo.News previously reported, the update concentrates on electronic systems, connected services and driver monitoring rather than a fundamental redesign of the cab.
The new equipment includes a camera that tracks the driver’s gaze and behaviour to detect possible fatigue or distraction.
An active steering system is also available to keep the truck centred in its motorway lane. It remains a driver-assistance function rather than full autonomous driving, meaning the person behind the wheel retains responsibility for controlling the vehicle.
The diesel range includes the xCursor 13 engine with output of up to 580 hp, introduced for the Model Year 2024 S-Way. Iveco links its efficiency gains to the combination of the engine, an optimised driveline, improved aerodynamics and predictive driving functions.
The manufacturer says the latest S-Way can deliver fuel savings of up to 11% compared with its predecessor. Actual performance will depend on route, cargo weight, speed and driving style.
A new total cost of ownership calculator was also demonstrated. It compares the operating expenses of the latest S-Way with previous versions, taking account of fuel, maintenance, finance and selected equipment.
The calculation can include replacing conventional mirrors with digital cameras. Iveco estimates that the aerodynamic improvement can reduce fuel consumption by approximately 1.5%.
Depending on annual mileage and diesel prices, the equipment could pay for itself in about 18 months. This is not a universal figure: the result will vary according to mileage, operating pattern, fuel cost and the price of the selected configuration.
The updated Iveco S-eWay Artic represented the battery-electric range. Earlier versions were commonly associated with a range of around 500 km, but Iveco now states that the new tractor can travel up to 600 km on one charge.
The truck uses an FPT Industrial electric axle producing 480 kW of continuous power, equivalent to approximately 650 hp. Three lithium iron phosphate battery packs provide a combined capacity of 603 kWh, of which 97% is usable.
Charging from 20% to 80% is expected to take approximately 60 minutes with a 350 kW DC charger. Deliveries of the S-eWay Artic are scheduled to begin in 2026.
Its practical use will depend on the availability of high-power charging, driver-break schedules, payload and weather conditions. The stated range is a maximum figure rather than a guaranteed distance for every operation.
The redesigned Iveco ON interface received the 2026 iF Design Award for digital user experience.
Its service ecosystem includes GeoTrack, which allows fleet customers to monitor a vehicle’s progress through the workshop. The system combines geofencing, diagnostic information and service-case data to track arrival, workshop activity, repair progress and departure.
This gives transport operators a clearer indication of when a truck can return to service. Dispatchers can use the information to redistribute freight orders, drivers and reserve vehicles more effectively.
GeoTrack is supported by Fast Track, which provides an initial diagnosis within two hours and an estimate of repair duration. Iveco is also developing Daily-based mobile workshops capable of performing diagnostics, software updates, inspections and selected maintenance tasks at customer premises.
One of the most unusual technologies demonstrated was a workshop tablet using augmented reality. A technician points its camera at the vehicle, and the screen displays the location of driveline components and electronic control units.
The system can assist in identifying individual modules, connectors, pins and wiring routes. This is increasingly relevant as modern trucks may contain dozens of electronic controllers compared with only a few in earlier vehicle generations.
The first dealers servicing the Iveco Daily are expected to receive the technology from late 2026. Iveco aims to make tablet-based vehicle scanning a standard tool for all new models across its dealer network by the end of 2030. This remains a rollout target rather than a system already installed in every workshop.
At the Most circuit, Iveco displayed a white S-Way fitted with an extensive selection of exterior and interior accessories. These included a larger sun visor, additional windscreen trim, auxiliary light housings, a front-bumper spoiler and an aerodynamic rear panel.
The rear element uses sports-car styling to cover the area behind the cab. An Italian dealer is already offering the component for slightly less than €4,000.
Interior options included decorative upholstery, additional storage replacing the upper bunk and an illuminated rear wall with speakers. These products are aimed mainly at owner-drivers and smaller transport companies that use distinctive trucks to promote their brands.
Iveco is also expanding the Drivers Fidelity Club, a loyalty programme designed specifically for professional drivers. It operates through the Easy Way application and uses connected-truck data to assess mileage, fuel efficiency, safety and vehicle care.
Drivers link their cards to an Iveco ON account and earn points for safe and economical behaviour. Those points can later be exchanged for rewards through a national catalogue.
The programme is being extended to additional markets, including Poland. Polish drivers can already accumulate points, while a local rewards catalogue is expected later, potentially around the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027. Iveco has not announced a definitive launch date.
For fleet operators, the scheme could support fuel savings and driver retention. Its practical value will depend on the transparency of the scoring system, the attractiveness of the rewards and how well the recommendations reflect real operating conditions.
Iveco Experience demonstrated that competition between truck manufacturers is moving beyond engine output, cab size and purchase price. Vehicle uptime, access to service data, repair duration and the predictability of operating expenses are becoming equally important.
The updated S-Way remains Iveco’s principal diesel product for international haulage, while the S-eWay provides an electric alternative on routes where charging infrastructure is available. GeoTrack, augmented-reality diagnostics and mobile workshops are intended to reduce unplanned downtime.
Some of the technologies presented, including the wider workshop-tablet rollout and the Polish Drivers Fidelity Club rewards catalogue, are still being introduced. Their measurable effect on fleet costs will become clearer after broader commercial deployment.
