Li Qiang stated that the “China Opportunities 2.0” initiative is establishing a new environment for international companies by providing greater access to innovation, cutting-edge technologies, and high-potential investment opportunities. He made the remarks while delivering the opening speech at the plenary session of the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the Summer Davos Forum, held in the northeastern Chinese city of Dalian.
According to Li, some countries have attempted to portray China’s technological and industrial progress as the so-called “China Shock 2.0.” However, he argued that such a narrative fails to reflect reality. Instead, he stressed that China’s rapid economic and technological development benefits not only the country itself but also the global economy by expanding access to advanced technologies and creating new opportunities for international cooperation.
The Premier also reaffirmed China’s commitment to openness, innovation, and stronger international partnerships, noting that the country will continue to provide favorable conditions for foreign investment, joint projects, and sustainable long-term growth.
