Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy and Bahrain Polytechnic have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), opening up new opportunities for the training of maritime professionals and the advancement of applied research across the region.
The agreement is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two educational institutions and supporting the development of national talent for the maritime sector. Under the partnership, the parties plan to jointly develop and implement maritime training programs, organize professional development courses for educators and instructors, and regularly hold lectures, seminars, conferences, and other industry-related events.
Particular attention will be given to the practical training of students. Bahraini cadets and graduates will gain access to internship and industrial placement programs, enabling them to acquire in-demand skills and hands-on experience in real maritime industry environments.
In addition, ADMA and Bahrain Polytechnic intend to carry out joint research projects in the fields of maritime technologies, engineering, safety, and logistics. The collaboration is expected to contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions and the development of new educational programs that meet the evolving needs of the modern maritime industry.
