Indonesian shipping company Wintermar Offshore Marine Group has completed the acquisition of the remaining stakes in Singapore-based Fast Offshore Supply (FOS) and its Indonesian subsidiary, PT Fast Offshore Indonesia (FOI), securing full ownership of both companies. The move strengthens the group’s presence in the construction and operation of high-speed aluminium vessels serving offshore energy projects.

Wintermar Offshore Marine (WINS), a subsidiary of the group, acquired a 52.5% stake in FOS from Seacoral Maritime for $26 million and purchased the remaining 49% stake in FOI for $7 million. WINS already held a controlling interest in the Indonesian company prior to the transaction.

The acquisition significantly expands Wintermar’s fleet and business opportunities. In 2025, Fast Offshore Supply won an international tender to deliver five aluminium crew transfer vessels (CTVs) for Shell in Brunei, with delivery scheduled for 2027. The company later secured an additional contract to build and sell another five CTVs by 2028. All ten vessels were designed by Incat Crowther.

Following the transaction, Wintermar’s fleet will grow from 12 to 22 vessels. The company stated that the acquisition will reduce the fleet’s average age from 16 to 14 years, provide long-term charter-backed vessel employment, and create a new source of revenue through shipbuilding activities.
